Tungsten rhenium thermocouple is high temperature resistant thermocouple. It has the advantages of good linear relationship between temperature and electric potential, reliable thermal stability, low price and so on. Matching with display instrument, it can directly measure the temperature of liquid, steam and gas medium, etc. It can be used in the range of 0~2300℃ in a vacuum, reduction, and inert atmosphere.
It can partly replace platinum rhodium thermocouple as ultrahigh temperature measuring tool in new metallurgical industry, high temperature electronic thermal engineering structure systems, space vehicles and nuclear reactor.
Material Introduction:
There are two kinds of tungsten rhenium thermocouple listed in the national standard of China: - WRe5-WRe26, the anode component is W95%, Re5%, cathode component is W74%, Re26%. Graduation is WRe5-WRe26, shorthand: W-Re5/26 (ASTM graduation: C).
- WRe3-WRe25, the anode component is W97%, Re3%, cathode component is W75%, Re25%. Graduation is WRe3-WRe25, shorthand: W-Re3/25 (ASTM graduation: D).
Product Specification:
Tungsten rhenium thermocouple graduation is W/(W-26Re), (W-3Re)/(W-25Re), (W-5Re)/(W-26Re) and (W-5Re)/(W-20Re) etc. Long term use temperature is 2000~2400℃, the short-term use temperature can be up to 3000℃.
